A release candidate version 0.7.8-rc1 with kernel 2.6.33.5 is available as installer from snapshots page. Many new features are in the FLTK console, for example scroll back buffer and mouse selection for copy&paste.

Yin Sun is working on framebuffer for coLinux. The current version starts nice and has console scroll back buffer. Files are available on cofb-2.6.26.8. All thanks to Yin, he has completed starting work from Nuno to current kernel 2.6.26.8.

Wiki on SourceForge have some problems, for examples pages with the words "from" and "cd" lets the server fail. Some other problems are administrative types: We can not import pages and can not delete pages. I'm looking for alterates.

After big database error on September 18, the Wiki host is shutting down now.
The current plan is to use SF new service "Hosted Apps". A backup will upload next days there.

Released 0.6.2. This released is based on the 2.6.x kernel, and not guaranteed to work out-of-the-box with Gentoo root file systems that are based on the 2.4.x kernel. Consider the Wiki when upgrading.

After the first binary release of coLinux in the last weekend, some people succeeded running it, other people did not. We are currently working on finding the bug that causes the reported crashes. We are glad to report that others managed to run coLinux successfully without any crash.
